Two sets of twins | Katy, texas Twin newborn photographer
Hi there! If you’re new here, welcome! I’m an in-home newborn photographer in Katy, Texas. As a twin mama myself, I LOVE photographing newborn twins. This wasn’t just one set of twins for this sweet family, this was this family’s second set of miracles! Their big sister, older twin brother and sister welcomed the new babies in January and I couldn’t wait to meet them! We had their in-home newborn session in the family’s dining room while Super Dad took the three “older” kiddos to church while mom and I quietly worked with the babies. The area was large enough for me to bring all of my props and setup my mobile studio for our session. Although their house was quite large, the parents were able to heat up the rooms so they were warm enough for the babies to be comfortable. We had a calm and beautiful session capturing the twins together and individually. True to twin form, one baby slept while his brother was awake and visa versa. While one baby was awake and being fed/cuddled by mama, I photographed the other twin to get individual pictures of each baby. One of the twins wanted to stay awake for some of his portraits and I got the cutest pictures of him with his eyes open! When babies are awake during our session, I wrap the baby in a swaddle and the session becomes more baby led. We follow baby’s lead! It was to our advantage because his photos are so adorable! We were also able to get some incredible portraits of them together. Just like in the womb, they loved cuddling next to one another! I chose earthy, neutral tones for this session that complimented the babies’ skin perfectly. I always shoot with printed products and prints in mind for my clients and this image will be incredible printed on a large canvas!
After we completed the newborn twins’ session, their older siblings joined us for family portraits. They were unbelievably cooperative and waited patiently for me to capture some adorable images of the entire family. I look forward to watching these babies grow!
